Ronald A. Schroeder is the Director of Technology & Industry Standards for Power Switching and Controls at ASCO Power Technologies, LP. He has an AAS in Engineering from Union College in Cranford, NJ and a BS degree in Industrial Technology from Kean University in Union, NJ.
He has 48 years of experience at ASCO and his previous position was the Director of Product Management & Applications Engineering. He also had responsibilities in the power testing laboratory, applications engineering, government contract management, product management and has lead numerous project teams in the development and release of new products. He is a Life Member of the IEEE and has given multiple presentations at IEEE seminars
He is a member of the Technical Committee for NFPA 110/111 Emergency & Standby Power Systems; NFPA 99 Correlating Committee for Health Care Facilities and the International Electrical Inspectors Association. He has also been teaching classes for 26 years on Automatic Transfer Switches at both the Basic and Advanced Rowley Power Schools administered by the Electrical Generator Society of America (EGSA) and recently served a 3 year term on the EGSA Board of Directors.
