The Transfer Test is one of the functionality tests that the user can perform on the transfer switches. It checks the condition of the transfer switch (automatic or non-automatic) with respect to its electrical operation.

The instructions for performing a transfer test are outlined in the respective Installation and Operation manuals for each unit. The instructions for a Transfer Test involving the Series 300 Group G are shown below for reference.

It is recommended that a transfer test is performed at least once a month.
