How to set the date and time on Group G and Group 5 controllers?
For Group G Controller
Applicable to Series 300 transfer switches
Screen Navigation
Follow the sequence of buttons (in yellow) until you reach Date & Time
Home/Status Screen à Settings à General à Date & Time
Press Enter, as password will be required, enter default Password: 1111, Press Enter
Date & Time Settings
Time follows a 24-hour format
Examples: Set to 01:00 for 1:00 AM ; Set to 13:00 for 1:00 PM
Adjustment
To start adjusting the parameters, Press Enter.
When a parameter flashes, use the up-down arrow key to adjust the setting.
Press Enter, to skip to different parameters.
When done, Press Enter once more to save the settings.
Parameters should all be solid, it indicates that all changes were saved.
Press Escape to go back to Home screen.
For Group 5 Controller
Applicable to Series 4000/7000 transfer switches
In Group 5 controller, Date & Time would be set under Settings Engine Exerciser

Understanding Parameters
US DST – US Daylight Saving Time
Options: OFF; APR-OCT; MAR-NOV
Date – Format: Day of the Week (MON, TUE,…, SUN) Month(MMM) /Day (DD) /Year (YY)
Example: MON NOV/08/21
Time – 24-hour Format (HHhmm)
Examples: Set to 04h04 for 4:04 AM ; Set to 16h04 for 4:04 PM
Adjustment
To start adjusting the parameters, Press Enter.
When a parameter flashes, use the up-down arrow key to adjust the setting.
Press Enter, to skip to different parameters.
When done, Press Enter once more to save the settings.
Parameters should all be solid, it indicates that all changes were saved.
Press Escape to go back to Home screen.

- From the Home/Status Screen, Press Enter
- Using Right/Left Arrow Keys, look for Settings Engine Exerciser, Press Enter
- As it asks for Password, Enter Default Password: 1111, Press Enter
