When to specify or add a sub-panel for an ASCO 920 RC switch?
Answer:
A Sub-panel is needed in the following situations:
A Sub-panel is needed in the following situations:
- If the type of connection to the 920 RC Switch for LINE AND LOAD is thru power cables, then lugs are needed. Lugs are part of the sub-panel.
920 RC switch with Sub-Panel
- If the 920 RC switch is specified with a NEMA Type Enclosure then a sub-panel will automatically be included (See below)
920 RC switch Specified with UL Type 1 Enclosure (Sub-Panel is automatically included)
NOTE: If the 920 RC switch is to be mounted in Split Bus Panel or existing Panelboard that has Bus to Bus Connection then a Sub-panel is not needed and 920 will only come with Bus Stabs (See below)
