Where can I view event logs on a Group 5 Controller?
The Group 5 controller event logging feature can be displayed from the keypad. Some settings may require a password (if the controller is set up for one).
Status Display à Settings à General à Event Logging
Logged Events - shows the last 99 logged events. Each event display shows the event number (1 is the most recent, 99 is the oldest), the time and date of the event, the event type, and the event reason (if applicable)
Event Types - Nine types of events are logged. They are (displayed event & meaning) : Event Reasons - Twenty–one reason for events are logged. They are (displayed reason & meaning)
- Check first on the General Settings menu if Event Logging is enabled. The default setting is “no”

- Once event logging is enabled, you can view it on the View Event Log menu.
