How to make the QEM send a test email without triggering an ATS or Electrical Event?
After setting up the SMTP, most end-users would want to check if they can receive e-mail notifications from the QEM to verify that the settings are correct. In some cases, the end-users do not have the liberty to force electrical events or an ATS action that would trigger the e-mail notification. Some others are also unwilling to perform a power cycle of the QEM which is one of the other methods to trigger an e-mail notification.

Log in using the admin credentials.

Go to Configuration > Ethernet Module and click Edit.

When prompted, enter the admin credentials again and the page should update.

Go to the Advanced tab and click the Restart QEM button:

The page should refresh and after a few moments, an e-mail notification should be sent to the target e-mail addresses:
