The new lineup helps facilities with a permanent generator comply with new NEC requirements to provide secondary backup power when servicing an off-line engine-generator.
The 300 SERIES devices offer greater flexibility for solving backup power challenges. The SERIES 300 Quick Connect Panels use 16 Series Cam-Lok™ connectors to provide a fast and reliable method for connecting cables from a temporary or portable generator. The SERIES 300 Manual Transfer Switch provides a simple and robust method for transferring building loads between two power sources. The SERIES 300 MTS with Integrated Quick Connects combines the features of both devices into one enclosure, allowing deployment of a comprehensive solution in a single installation.

The ASCO SERIES 300 MTS is available in single phase or 3-phase models ranging from 150 to 3,000 Amps and up to 600 VAC. It meets NFPA 110 standards for Emergency and Standby Power Systems and is UL 1008-listed. It can handle the extraordinary demands of switching stalled motors and high inrush loads. Its modular design makes it easy to install and maintain, and its rugged construction assures many years of reliable service. Its 3-position center-off switch is pad-lockable in all three positions and is easy-to-use.
